Jay Exports

Our office is on Dholakya Street, right near the Sihor Nagrikbank. If you know Sihor, you know exactly where that is. Jay Exports isn't a massive operation with hundreds of employees. It's just a few of us handling the shipping and the logistics. We spend most of our time on the phone or typing out emails to people in different time zones. The street can get pretty loud during bank hours with all the scooters and people walking by. We have a small space where we keep our records and a few samples of what we export. It’s nothing fancy. Just some desks, a few chairs, and a very old ceiling fan that clicks when it’s on high. We try to keep things simple. We move goods from one place to another and make sure the paperwork is in order so nothing gets stuck at the port. Sometimes things go wrong with the shipping schedules, and we have to stay late to fix it. That's just the way it goes. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We’re an export house in a small town. We know our neighbors, and we know our business. If you walk past the bank, you’ll probably see me standing outside having a quick tea. That’s us.
