Maruti Scrap

We are located over in Talaja, right near Parimal Chowk on Waghawadi Road. If you are looking for the Shiv Mandir, we are just a short walk from there. Maruti Scrap has been around for a while now, mostly just doing the daily work of sorting through junk and metal. It’s a busy corner of town. Cars go by all the time and the noise is just part of the day. We have a small yard where we pile things up. It isn’t very tidy, but that is the nature of a scrap business. We deal with whatever comes through the gate. Old pipes, wires, bits of machinery, you name it. People come by from the local area when they are cleaning out their sheds or fixing up their houses. We keep the scales ready. Sometimes it’s just one person with a bag of cans, and other times a big truck shows up. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us here every day. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially being so close to the road. We try to be fair and just get the job done. Talaja is home for us, and this spot on Waghawadi Road works well for everyone. No fancy signs or marketing here, just Maruti Scrap doing what we’ve always done. We are usually here early to start the day before the traffic picks up.
