Maharaja Soft Drink

Our workshop is at Plot No. 21-B in the Parimal Society area of Palitana. We are quite close to Paleti Road, so it is easy enough for people to drop by. We make soft drinks right here on the premises. It is a lot of work with the mixing tanks and the bottling equipment. The machines are old but they still work fine as long as we keep them oiled and clean. During the summer heat, the demand goes up and we are often working late into the evening just to keep the shelves full. It is a family-sort of atmosphere here, even if we aren't all related. We drink a lot of tea while we work and talk about whatever is happening in the town. The floor is always a bit sticky from the sugar, no matter how many times we wash it down. We don't have a marketing team or anyone to take fancy pictures. We just put the bottles in the crates and wait for the regulars to come by. It is a local business and we know most of the people who buy from us by their first names. We have been in Palitana for years and have no plans to move anywhere else. Most days are just about keeping the machines running and making sure we don't run out of caps or labels while we work.
