Kingfisher

Kingfisher over here in Bhavnagar has been at this Sagwadi spot for a while now. If you head down toward Kalvibid, you’ll find us at 335/244. It isn’t a fancy place with big signs, just a regular building where we do our work every day. The neighborhood gets pretty busy in the mornings when everyone is heading out, and we are usually here before the sun gets too high. There are about five of us who handle everything. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, so we just sit on the steps and wait for it to come back. It’s mostly quiet except for the motorbikes passing by. We don’t really do much advertising because people around here already know where we are. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but they’ve looked this way for years and nobody seems to mind much. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the ledger and a couple of old chairs for anyone who needs to wait. It gets dusty because of the road, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down with a damp cloth. Usually, the day ends around six and we lock up the gate and head home. It is a simple setup, nothing like those big offices you see in the city center. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized with what we have. It works for us and the people who visit.
