Hi-Tech Investment Castings Ltd. is tucked away at 204/A in the Gidc-Ll area of Sihor. If you’ve ever been to Sihor, you know it’s mostly factories and dust, and we fit right in. We’ve been doing investment casting here for a while. It’s a long process with the wax and the molds, and it gets incredibly hot near the furnaces. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just some old fans that move the hot air around. The building itself is just a big industrial shed that’s seen a lot of use. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we are doing the billing. Most of our day is spent on the floor, checking the molds or pouring the metal. It’s a lot of physical work and the hours can be long when a big order comes through. We aren't a corporate giant; we’re just a local business trying to keep things moving. Sometimes a batch doesn't come out right, and we just have to figure out why and fix it. We don't have a marketing person to tell you how great we are. We just do the casting work as best as we can with what we have. If you come by the office, don't expect a leather sofa. It’s just chairs and a lot of paperwork. That’s just how we run things in Sihor.
