Gopi Plastic

Gopi Plastic is located at 212 in the Chitra Gidc area. This is an industrial zone, so it's mostly warehouses and factories around us. We have heaps of plastic goods stacked up inside, from containers to smaller items people use in their daily lives. The noise from the other units in the Gidc is constant, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We spend our days checking the stock and loading up bags for customers who come by. It’s a dusty place, as you’d expect for an industrial unit, and we don’t have any fancy showroom. You just walk in and see what we have on the floor. Most of our work is wholesale, so we deal with a lot of bulk orders and heavy lifting. Our hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the crates and moving things around. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us making sure the orders are right and the trucks get loaded on time. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the morning fixing them instead of working. It’s just part of the routine here. We’ve been in Chitra for a while now and we know how the local business works. It’s practical, straightforward work that keeps the lights on and the place running. It is what it is for us.
