Down in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, we have our office at 5 Rupa Apartments on Plot No 430 B. It is situated in the Prabhudas area, which is a pretty active part of town. This is the local branch for Fullertonindia Credit Company Ltd. The building is one of those older structures that has seen a lot of seasons. Inside, it’s mostly just us working on laptops and talking on the phone. The weather in Gujarat can get incredibly hot, so the ceiling fans are always running at full speed. We handle credit work for the people in this part of the state. It’s not a high-pressure environment with people in suits; we usually just wear what’s comfortable for the heat. There’s a lot of movement on the street outside, and the sounds of the city definitely drift into the office throughout the day. We have a small area for guests to sit, but it’s mostly just files and folders taking up the space on the shelves. Dealing with credit means a lot of checking and re-checking, so we keep our focus for most of the day. Every now and then, someone drops by just to ask a question, and we do our best to answer without making it sound too technical. It is just a regular office where we do our work and go home when the sun goes down. Nothing more and nothing less than that, just a local business spot where the paperwork never ends.
