We are set up right across from the Prince Tea Store in Bhavnagar. Our office is in the Pathikashr building. It is a busy part of town, so there’s always noise from the street and the tea stall. We focus on grains. It’s not the cleanest job in the world because of all the dust, but we’ve been doing it for a while now. We spend most of our time looking at different types of grain and making sure they are good enough to sell. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us in a small room with some desks and a lot of samples. We talk to farmers and traders all day long. Sometimes the market prices go up and down and that makes things stressful, but we just take it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the biggest grain dealer in India. We just want to do our job and go home at the end of the day. The office is a bit cluttered with paperwork and bags of grain, but we know where everything is. We usually grab a tea from across the road when things get too busy. It’s a simple life. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just buy and sell grain and try to keep things moving forward.
