K. J Trading Co.

Our spot is A-86 over at the APMC in Chitra. If you know the market, you know it gets incredibly busy early in the morning. K. J Trading Co. is right in the middle of all that noise and movement. We have been trading here for quite some time now. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit. We are usually in casual clothes, dodging crates and talking to the loaders. The dust from the market settles on everything, so we are always dusting off our desks. Trading is mostly about who you know and being there when the goods arrive. We handle a lot of different things depending on what is in season. The phone rings a lot at K. J Trading Co. because everyone wants to know the latest prices. Sometimes we eat our lunch standing up because there is just too much going on. Chitra is a hub for this kind of work and being in the APMC makes sense for us. We have neighbors who do the same thing, so there is a bit of a community feel among the traders. We don't have a fancy website or anything, just our spot at A-86. It is loud, it is messy, and it is usually very hot, but that is just the way the trading business goes in a place like this.
