Zagva Bharuch Spnf Producer Company Limited is mostly just a group of local farmers who decided we should stick together. Bharuch can be quite busy with all the industry around, but in Vagra, we still focus a lot on the earth. It started with just a few of us talking about how to get better results without spending all our money on expensive inputs. Now, it’s a bit bigger, but it still feels like a small family thing. We spend our mornings checking the accounts or talking to people who walk in from the nearby farms. Ileshkumar’s place is easy to spot, and there’s usually a tractor or a bike parked outside. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just write things down in ledgers and try to make sure everyone gets a fair shake. The work is steady, and there’s a lot of talk about natural farming because that’s the path we chose. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes we get behind on things, but the community here is strong. We know our neighbors and we know the land. That’s enough for us to keep going every day in Vagra. We just take it slow and see what happens with the next season.
