T B Hospital

Our T B Hospital is situated inside the New Civil Hospital Compound, which is on Station Road, right opposite the Relax Cinema. Being located in such a well-known compound means we’re part of a much larger medical environment. However, our specific focus is on tuberculosis care. Because we are near the station and the cinema, the area outside is almost always loud and crowded with people, rickshaws, and traffic. Inside the compound, it’s a little more organized but still very busy. We have a lot of people coming in from different parts of the city and even from outside the city because of our proximity to the station. The hospital itself is a government-style building—stark, functional, and very busy. We don’t have much in the way of comfort or luxury. There are benches for waiting and long corridors. Our nurses and doctors are usually moving fast because there are always more people to see. We spend our time managing patient records, administering treatments, and monitoring the progress of those in the wards. It’s a practical place for serious work. We don't do any promotional stuff; we just exist to handle the TB cases that the general clinics can't manage. Every day is pretty much the same—lots of patients, lots of paperwork, and a constant effort to keep everything running smoothly in the middle of all the noise from Station Road. It's hard work, but the staff here is used to the pace.
