Our place is Mandva Infrastructure Developmentprivate Limited. You can find us out at Survey No. 86 and 87 in Naugama village. We are right behind Alkam Laboratory, close to National Highway Number 8 in Bharuch. It’s a good location because the highway makes it easy to move things around. We focus on infrastructure, which basically means we deal with the groundwork and the basics of building stuff. It’s not glamorous work. There is a lot of mud and heavy machinery involved. We spend most of our days out in the sun at Naugama. The village is quiet, but the work we do keeps us on our toes. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them on the fly. That’s just part of the job when you’re working in development. We aren't big talkers. We prefer to just get on with the task. The company has been set up to handle the local needs here in Bharuch. We know the soil and we know the weather. It rains hard here, so we have to plan around that. We don't use any fancy jargon. If a road needs fixing or a site needs clearing, we do it. The office is just a place to keep the files and have a seat when the day is done. We are just local people working on local projects. That is how it has always been for us here.
