I started Jigar Bhatt Id Cards in Kosamba because I saw people needed them and I had the machines. It’s not a big shop or anything, just a small space where I can work quietly. Making ID cards takes a bit of focus so I usually have the radio playing in the background to keep me company. Most of the people who come in are from right here in town. They need cards for work or school usually. Sometimes I have to explain that the photo needs to be clear or it won't look right on the plastic. I've lived in Kosamba my whole life so I know a lot of the folks who walk through the door. It makes the day go by faster when you can chat while you work. The printer is a bit loud sometimes and it gets warm in the room when it's running all afternoon. I try to keep enough blank cards in stock so nobody has to wait too long. It is just me here most of the time. I don't have a website or fancy brochures. People just know where the shop is and they come by when they need something printed. It's a simple life and the work is steady enough. I like being my own boss even if it means I have to do all the cleaning and paperwork myself.
