Jinesh Nalinkant Vora

Our place is at number 26 in the New GIDC area. Jinesh Nalinkant Vora is the name we use for everything official. Being in the GIDC means we are surrounded by all sorts of factories and warehouses. It’s a very industrial environment, with plenty of dust and the constant rumble of heavy trucks passing by on the main road. Our unit is basically one large room with a concrete floor that’s seen a lot of use over the years. A small area is set aside for our files and the telephone. It’s not the kind of place where you’d host a fancy meeting. Most of our time is spent managing the day-to-day tasks that keep the business going. Sometimes the work is physically demanding, and other times it’s just a lot of paperwork. Every morning starts with checking the mail and seeing what needs attention first. While the lighting isn't great, we have enough lamps to see what we're doing. Since there isn't any air conditioning, we rely on a few floor fans to keep the air moving. Neighbors in the estate have become familiar faces after all the time we've spent here. It’s a no-nonsense type of operation. We don't bother with much beyond the work itself. Most days are long, but we’ve got a solid routine down that helps us get through everything without too much trouble. We just do the work as it comes.
