Our shop is at D-34 in the Patel Super Market, right on Station Road. We are sitting right beside Hardik Plywood, so that’s a good landmark if you’re trying to find us. Since we are on the road to the station, there are always people rushing past our door. It’s a busy environment and the air is often filled with the smell of glue and cut materials. We spend our days putting together signs of all shapes and sizes. It’s mostly manual labor, using our hands to align letters or fix frames. The workbench is usually scarred from all the cutting we do, and there are bits of vinyl everywhere. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy front desk; you usually just walk in and find one of us working on a project in the back. It’s a simple way of doing business, and we prefer it that way. We talk to the other shop owners in the market during our breaks, mostly about how the business is going or the weather. Sometimes we have to deal with difficult installations, but we just figure it out as we go. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful about how we stack the finished signs so they don't get scratched. It’s a lot of standing on our feet and making sure the measurements are right before we commit to a cut. That’s pretty much our daily life here, just working and staying busy.
