Shailesh Engineering Co. is tucked away at Plot No. A-112 in the NTPC Township at Vidyut Nagar. Being so close to the thermal plant, we naturally spend a lot of our time dealing with technical work and repairs that come up in an industrial setting. It’s a noisy and busy place to be, but we’ve gotten used to the hum of the machinery over the years. Our workshop is filled with tools and bits of metal, and it’s rarely what you’d call tidy. We’re more concerned with getting a part fixed or a job finished than we are with how the floor looks. The guys here have been doing this for a long time, so they know their way around an engine or a lathe. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist. Usually, if you need something, you just walk into the shop and find one of us. We handle a variety of engineering tasks, some small and some quite complicated. Things don't always go perfectly on the first try, but we stick with it until the problem is solved. It’s the kind of place where you learn something new every day because every job is a little bit different. We just want to be a reliable place where people can get their engineering work done without any fluff or nonsense. It is hard work but we enjoy the challenge of fixing things.
