Bachpan Play School

You’ll find us situated within the Krushna Sahayogi Tantra Shikshan Sanstha premises on Chichgarh Road in Deori. Being out here in Gondia district, we are a bit of a distance from the main hubs, but that’s fine for what we do. It’s a play school, so most of our days are filled with the sounds of toddlers and young children. The walls are painted with bright colors and some cartoons to make the place look a bit more cheerful for the little ones. We have various toys and blocks scattered around the rooms, and we try to keep things organized, though that’s nearly impossible with kids. The staff here are mostly local ladies who are used to the noise and energy. We don’t follow some high-end international curriculum; we just teach the kids how to share, play together, and learn their first letters and numbers. There is a bit of outdoor space where they can run around for a bit before it gets too hot. The road outside can get a bit busy with local traffic, so we always keep the main gate locked once the children are inside. It’s a very simple operation. We don’t have a big office or a fancy reception area. Usually, parents just walk in and talk to us directly at the desk. We just try to provide a safe and decent place for the kids in Deori to start their schooling years. Sometimes it gets a little chaotic when everyone is trying to leave at once, but we manage.
