Vikramshila Ceramics

Working out of D-32 in the Large Industrial State here in Barari means dealing with a lot of heat and heavy materials. Vikramshila Ceramics is basically just a group of us who know how to handle clay and fire. It’s an industrial area, so there isn’t much shade, and the trucks are always moving in and out. We spend most of our time around the kilns or checking the stock. It’s not a clean job; you go home with dust on your shoes every single day. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Most of our talking happens right on the floor where the work is actually being done. People come by when they need ceramics for their projects, and we show them what we have piled up. Sometimes a batch doesn't come out perfect, and we have to start over, which is frustrating but part of the trade. Barari is a tough place to work during the summer, but we’ve been at this address long enough that it feels like home. We don't spend money on fancy signs or advertising because we’d rather just focus on the ceramics. It’s a simple setup. We open early, stay until the work is finished, and try to keep things organized despite the constant mess. It's just honest work in a busy industrial corner of the world.
