Sitanath Developers is based out of Bhagalpur, specifically on Red Cross Road in the Adampur area. We share the space near Gajadhar Pd. Yadav’s place, which is a well-known landmark if you’re from this part of Jagdishpur. Bhagalpur has its own way of doing things, and we’ve learned to work within that over the years. We aren't some giant firm from Delhi; we’re just local people building things for other local people. Our office is a straightforward place where we keep the site boots and the old blueprints. It’s often a bit dusty because of the road work outside, but that’s just how it is. We spend most of our time out at the actual sites rather than sitting behind a desk. It’s better that way so we can see what the laborers are doing and make sure the mix is right. Sometimes we have to deal with the heat which can be brutal in the afternoons, so we usually start early and take a long break when the sun is highest. We’ve done a few different types of buildings around here, nothing too flashy, just practical spaces that people can actually use. People know where to find us if they have questions. We don’t go in for much advertising because our work in the neighborhood usually speaks for itself when people walk past. It’s a slow and steady kind of business, and we are quite happy with that pace.
