Our workshop for Shafqat Silk Industries Private Limited is right in Bhagalpur, specifically in the Muzahidpur West area. We are located at Mohammad Sahabuddin Anshari’s place in Mirjanhat. If you know the 812005 area, you know it can get pretty busy with all the traffic and people moving about. We’ve been here for a bit now, just focusing on our silk work. Bhagalpur is famous for this kind of stuff, so being here feels right. It is not a huge factory or anything like that. It is more of a practical space where we can get things done without too much fuss. The streets around Mirjanhat are narrow and can be a bit crowded, but that is just the character of this town. We have our regulars who know where to find us. We don't really spend time on fancy decorations or office stuff. Most of our day is spent dealing with the actual silk and making sure things are moving along. It gets hot in the summers, really hot, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy. Being in the West part of Muzahidpur means we are close to everything we need. We are just a group of people trying to make a living with what we know. It is a simple life here in Bihar, and we are okay with that. Most of the families around here have been in this business for generations.
