Rj Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in the village of Chak Haji Tola. Specifically, we are located at the house of Rakesh Kumar. This village is part of the Rupnarayn Pur Bela panchayat. We started this producer company because there are so many farmers in Chakhaji who were doing their own thing but needed a way to come together. We focus on organic farming because that is what we know. The daily life here involves a lot of outdoor work. We meet at Rakesh’s place to figure out the schedule for the week. It is a very local setup, and you won't find any corporate people in suits around here. We are usually in our work clothes, covered in a bit of dust from the fields. The Chakhaji area has good land if you treat it right. We spend most of our time talking about the weather and the price of organic inputs. It is a collective effort, so everyone puts in their share of the work. Sometimes we sit under the trees and talk about the next harvest. It is a slow process, but we aren't in a rush. We just want to make sure the land stays healthy for the next generation in Rupnarayn Pur Bela. There are no fancy signs or big advertisements for us. We just rely on the work we do every day. It is a practical way to live and farm with our friends.
