Our place is right near the Shiv Mandir in Nagrah. If you know Naugachhia, you know it’s a busy enough spot. We run Ksira Organic Dairy. It’s a lot of work dealing with animals every single day. They don’t take holidays, so neither do we. Morning starts at four or five, usually when the air is still cold. Bhagalpur has its own way of doing things, and we fit right in. We focus on the dairy side of things, making sure everything is handled properly. It isn't always easy, and the cows can be stubborn. The temple nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us. We aren't some big city business with a website and a marketing team. It’s just us and the animals. Sometimes the mud gets everywhere, but that is part of the job. We have some help from the local folks in Nagrah. Life here revolves around the seasons and the milk production. We try to keep the place clean, but it’s a farm, so there’s always something to sweep. People come by for what they need and we have a chat. It’s a steady rhythm. The 853204 area is where we call home. We’re just glad to be doing something that feels useful to the community here in Bihar. It is honest work and it keeps us tired but happy at the end of the day.
