Bci Computer Centre

Bci Computer Centre is right on Railway Station Road. It’s a busy spot because of all the people coming and going from the trains. You can hear the whistles and the announcements all day if the door is open. We set up here because it seemed like a good place where everyone passes by. The centre isn't very large, but we have enough computers for people to use or learn on. The tables are a bit worn down at the edges and the chairs aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. We spend a lot of time teaching people how to use basic programs or helping them print out documents they need for their travels. Railway Station Road is always dusty and there’s always someone honking their horn outside. We don’t mind it much anymore. It’s just the way things are around here. We open up early and stay until the evening trains are done. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. It feels like a real community spot where people stop in for a few minutes while waiting for their ride. We just keep things running and try to make sure the monitors stay clean. It’s a basic setup for basic needs, and that works for us and the people who visit from the station.
