Durga Steel

We have been here at Barapada on the Main Road for a good while now. It's quite busy because we are so close to the Bhadrak Railway Station. You can always hear the trains coming and going while we are working with the steel. It's a bit of a dusty spot, but that's just how it is when you're moving heavy metal around all day. Most mornings start early with someone unloading a truck or checking the latest stock that came in. We mostly deal with locals who need stuff for their building projects or small repairs. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a place where work gets done. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside and the metal clanging inside, but we've gotten used to it. We keep our supplies stacked up where we can find them, even if it looks a bit crowded to an outsider. People know where to find us because of the big sign and being right there on the post road. It's a straightforward business. We don't spend much time on office work because there is always something to move or someone waiting at the counter. Life here follows the rhythm of the railway schedules and the trucks passing by. It is just a regular day-to-day grind for us at Durga Steel. We try to keep things simple and get the orders out as they come. It’s hard work, but it keeps us busy. We don't mind the noise.
