Srivani Junior College

We've been here on Main Road in Sathupalli for quite a while now. Most people around Khammam know where we are. It’s a busy spot, but it works for the students coming in from nearby villages. Srivani Junior College is basically just a place where teenagers come to get through their intermediate years. We have classrooms and teachers who show up every morning to get through the syllabus. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but everyone is used to it. The building isn't brand new or anything fancy, but it gets the job done. We spend most of our days making sure the kids actually sit down and look at their books. It's not always easy keeping everyone focused, especially when the weather gets hot. We have a small office where parents come to talk about fees or grades. Mostly, we just try to keep things organized so the students can pass their exams and move on to whatever they want to do next. It’s a simple routine. We open the gates early, the buses arrive, and classes start. We don't have a huge playground, but there's enough space for the kids to stand around during breaks. We've seen a lot of batches come and go through these doors. Some stay in touch, others we never see again after they get their certificates. That’s just how it goes here in Sathupalli. We keep doing what we do every year.
