We are down on Janu Sahi Road in Peerkhanpur. If you’re looking for us, it’s the building that’s been there forever. My father started this a long time ago, and we just kept it going. There are piles of carpets everywhere, so you have to watch your step when you walk in. It smells like wool and old wood in here, which I’ve grown to like over the years. We don't really have a fancy showroom. It's more of a warehouse where we keep the stock and talk to the folks who stop by. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty, but that’s just part of the carpet business. We aren't trying to be the biggest place in town. We just want to make sure the stuff we sell is decent. The lighting isn't the best in the back, but we know where everything is. People from around the neighborhood know us by now. We spend a lot of time just moving things around to find the right pattern for someone. It’s heavy work. My back usually aches by the end of the day. But it's good to be busy. We usually close up early on Fridays. Nothing fancy, just a local spot where we do our best to stay in business and keep the legacy going for the next generation. We don't need much else besides a roof and some good stock.
