Sri Lakhshmi Bricks Factory is situated in Village Durgapur, which is part of the Ghoradongri Tehsil. You can find us pretty easily if you look for the Kali Mata Temple, we’re located right near it. Making bricks is what we know how to do best, and we’ve been doing it in this village for a long time. It’s a very local operation. We use the soil from the surrounding areas and fire the bricks in the traditional way. It takes a lot of patience and a lot of sweat, especially during the peak of summer when the sun is beating down on the yard. We keep our records in a simple notebook and don't really bother with computers or fancy tech. If someone needs bricks, they come and talk to us face to face. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living in the village. We have been here for years.
