Shree Pharmaceutical

You can find Shree Pharmaceutical on the Niladri Bihar Main Road in Berhampur. Being on the main road means we get a lot of traffic passing by throughout the day. The sound of buses and cars is just part of the background noise for us now. We have been operating out of this Berhampur location for several years. The shop itself is fairly long and narrow, with shelves lining both sides from the floor to the ceiling. We use a tall ladder to reach the stuff on the top rows. It can be a bit of a workout by the end of the day. My nephew usually handles the deliveries while I stay behind the counter to talk to the customers. We have a lot of people from the Niladri Bihar area who have been coming to us since we first opened. It is nice to see familiar faces every day. We do not have any air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that spin all day long. In the summer, it gets quite warm, but we keep some cold water in the back for ourselves. We are not trying to be the biggest place in Berhampur, just a reliable one where people can get what they need. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if we see someone coming down the road in a hurry. Once everything is locked up, the walk home is usually nice and quiet.
