Sant Jasnath Trading Co.

We are located out in Dharam Pur, Rangipur, which is part of the Ganjam district. Our shop is near the Santoshi Maa Temple, so we hear the bells ringing throughout the day. It is a nice way to keep track of the time. Trading involves a lot of waiting for trucks and then a lot of rushing to get them loaded or unloaded. We deal with all sorts of things depending on the season. The air here is often filled with the smell of whatever we are moving that day. We have a big open space where we keep the bags piled up. It's a bit of a dusty job, and your clothes usually show it by the time you go home. We have a small group of people working here, mostly locals from around Rangipur. We talk a lot while we work to keep the mood light. The weather can be a real challenge, especially when it rains and we have to cover everything up with plastic sheets quickly. We don't have any high-tech systems, just some notebooks and our memory to keep things straight. It's a straightforward business and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is. People know where to find us if they need to trade. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
