Glaze Pharma

Working at Glaze Pharma in Ganjam is pretty interesting because we are so close to the Old Bus Stand. You see all sorts of people passing through, travelers who are tired and folks just coming into town for the day. Because of the bus stand, it’s always loud with the drivers honking and the conductors yelling out the next stop. Our shop is a bit small, and we’ve had to get creative with how we stack the boxes of medicine. It’s usually me and one other guy here, and we spend a lot of time sweeping out the dust that blows in from the street. Ganjam is a busy area, and being near the transit hub means we stay on our toes. Sometimes people come in asking for directions more than they ask for medicine. We don't have a fancy waiting area or air conditioning, just a couple of plastic stools and a ceiling fan that clicks. We keep the books by hand mostly, though we have a small computer for the taxes. It gets really humid here in the summer, so we try to keep the door open to get a breeze. We get our stock from the city, and it arrives on the early morning buses sometimes. It’s a simple life, and we don't plan on moving anywhere else. The Old Bus Stand is the heart of the area, and we’re just glad to have a spot nearby to do our work.
