Yelahanka Lions Bloodbank Association

Yelahanka Lions Bloodbank Association is located at CA Site No. 9D on 8th Cross. We are right in Yelahanka New Town, which is a busy residential and commercial area. The building is on 16th Main Road, so it's fairly easy for people to find us when they need to. Inside, it’s a very practical environment. We have the refrigerators for storage and the beds for donors. It’s not a place for lounging around; we are usually moving from one task to the next. The staff here knows the routine well. We spend a lot of time checking labels, updating records, and talking to people who come through the door. It can get a bit hectic when we have a lot of visitors at once. The furniture is simple and functional. We try to keep everything as clean as possible, which is the main priority. Yelahanka New Town has grown so much, but we’ve stayed here at this cross for a long time. There is a lot of paperwork to manage every single day. We don't have any big marketing slogans or anything. It's just a blood bank where we do the work that needs doing. People come in, do what they need to do, and we make sure the logistics are handled correctly. It’s a very straightforward way of operating and it works for the community here. There is always someone working here.
