Yathish Home Appliances

Yathish Home Appliances is tucked into the Kamakshi Palya area, specifically in the Shivaji Nager Court New Building at 65/2. Being so close to the court means there are always a lot of people walking around, mostly lawyers and folks with legal errands. Our shop is full of boxes for mixers, fans, and all sorts of kitchen things. It can be a bit hard to move around in here when a new shipment arrives. I usually have my tools out on the front table because someone is always bringing in a broken iron or a grinder that stopped spinning. The light in the building is a little dim, but we have enough lamps around to see what we are doing. My brother helps me with the heavier deliveries. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot since the new building went up. It used to be much quieter, but now there’s a constant hum of traffic and people talking outside. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our name on the door and the stuff we sell. Most people find us because they live nearby or they’re at the court and see the sign. It’s a steady kind of life, fixing things and helping people pick out something for their homes. We keep the shop open until late most nights because that’s when people get off work and finally have time to shop.
