This place is right on 1 Hormavu Main Road, right next to where the State Bank of Mysore used to be, or where it still is, depending on how you look at the signs. Being in Horamavu means we get a lot of local traffic. We have the poly clinic and the diagnostic center all in the same spot, which keeps us on our toes. It’s a lot of different things happening at once. One room might be for an ultrasound while another is for a regular consultation. The hallway is often lined with people waiting for their results. We’ve got a couple of computers that are a bit slow, but they get the job done eventually. It can get a little chaotic on Monday mornings when everyone realizes they need to see a doctor at the same time. The staff tries to keep the line moving, but sometimes there’s just a lot of waiting. We don't have a big marketing department or anything. Most of our staff lives around here or takes the bus in. It’s a practical setup for the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time making sure the lab equipment is working right. The noise from the main road is constant, but once you’re inside, it’s not too bad. It’s just a local clinic trying to handle the daily needs of the people in Horamavu. We try to stay organized but some days are just busier than others.
