Wigan & Leigh College

We are located right on the ground floor of number 30 on Dickenson Road. It’s a pretty central spot, making it easy for people to find us without having to climb too many stairs. The building has been here for a while. It’s not a brand new glass tower, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We have some classrooms and office spaces set up inside. The rooms are basic, just desks and chairs and what's needed for the day. Being on the ground floor means we see a lot of the street life passing by. Dickenson Road can get quite loud with all the bikes and cars. Inside, we try to keep things orderly so everyone can focus. We have a small staff here managing the daily schedule. Students and visitors drop in throughout the day. It’s a busy environment most of the time. We don't have a big cafeteria or anything, so people usually grab a snack from the shops nearby. It’s a practical place to be. We’ve got the usual paperwork and files stacked up in the back office. The lighting isn't always the brightest, but it works. We just focus on getting through the syllabus and helping whoever comes through the door. It's just a regular college building where real work happens every day without any fuss. We’ve been here for several years and know the area well. It’s a good spot for us to keep things running steadily.
