Wheels Driving School

This school is right on the Outer Ring Road in Marathahalli. It’s in the Shiva Building, number 3-76. If you look across the road, you’ll see Kalamandir, which is a big landmark for everyone around here. Being on the ring road means there is always a lot of traffic, which is actually good for people learning to drive. They get used to the chaos of Bangalore roads pretty quickly. We have a few cars and some instructors who have been doing this for a long time. It’s not a fancy office. We have some benches for students to sit on while they wait for their turn. The Bangalore weather is usually okay, but the dust from the road construction can be a bit much. We spend most of our hours in the car, showing people how to handle the clutch and the gears. It takes a lot of patience. Some people learn fast, others take weeks. We just sit there and guide them through the lanes. After work, we usually grab a snack from one of the nearby stalls. The Shiva Building is quite old now, but it serves its purpose. We keep our logs and schedules on a big whiteboard. It gets messy sometimes when we have a lot of students booked in. We just try to keep the cars running well and make sure everyone knows the basic rules before they go for their test. It is a busy life here in Marathahalli.
