Welingkar Institute

Welingkar Institute is situated out in Electronic City Phase 1, specifically in buildings 102 and 103. Being in this part of the city means we are surrounded by a lot of big offices and tech companies. It is a busy area, especially in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work. Our space is spread across these two buildings, and we spend our days making sure the rooms are ready for whoever is coming in to learn. The hallways are usually pretty quiet until the breaks start, and then you can hear everyone talking at once. We have a lot of desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. The security guards at the main gate know most of us by name now since we’ve been here so long. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just the necessary signs and some clocks that don't always show the same time. There is a small area where staff can sit and have their tea during the afternoon. Sometimes the elevators in building 102 can be a little slow, so many of us just take the stairs to stay moving. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is just on the daily schedule. We don’t really do anything flashy. It is just a place for education right in the middle of the electronics hub. We’ve grown used to the hum of the city around us.
