Welfare Hospital

Welfare Hospital is located right on Sultan Street. It’s a fairly central spot, and Sultan Street is a place that most people in this part of town are familiar with. The hospital itself has been part of the streetscape for quite some time. We aren’t one of those massive, sprawling medical centers. We are more of a local hospital that handles the daily needs of the people living around here. The building has several floors, and we spend a lot of time running up and down the stairs because the lift can be a bit slow sometimes. Each day brings something different. One day it might be quiet, and the next day the waiting area is overflowing with people. We don't have fancy decorations or a grand entrance. It’s a practical building designed for work. The nurses and doctors here are just regular people who want to do a good job. We have our routines, like checking the charts and making sure the supplies are stocked up. Sometimes we run out of tea in the breakroom, which is a minor tragedy for the staff. We see a lot of different cases, from minor stuff to things that need a bit more care. Sultan Street is always loud with the sounds of the city, and that energy filters into the hospital too. It’s just a place where we try to get people back on their feet and going again.
