Vivek Exports

Nagarthpet is one of those places that never really stops moving. Our office at No 103 on the first floor is right in the middle of the Steel Market. You can hear the sound of metal being moved and people shouting orders all day long. It is a crowded area, and finding a place to park a bike is a mission in itself. Vivek Exports is a small operation in a building that has seen a lot of history. We have a few desks squeezed into the room and a lot of shelves for our files. The air always smells a bit like iron and exhaust fumes from the street. We don't have much room for extras, so every inch of the office is used for something important. Dealing with exports in a market like this means you have to be quick and stay on your toes. People are always popping in to ask questions or drop off papers for us to look at. We drink a lot of tea to stay focused throughout the day. It is not the most comfortable place, but it has a lot of energy. We have been part of this market for years and we wouldn't know what to do with ourselves in a quiet, modern office building. It’s noisy and dusty but it is our daily reality and we like the people here.
