Ashish Stone Exports

You can find us at No. 124 Royal Shelters Phase- 2 on the Devrachikkanahalli Main Road. It’s part of the Begur Hobli area. We deal with stones, mostly for export to other countries. It’s heavy work and can get quite dusty in the yard. Ashish Stone Exports has been around this part of town for some time. Our office is right there in the residential-commercial mix. We have samples of granite and marble lying around everywhere. People sometimes trip over them if they aren't looking where they are going. We spend a lot of time talking to quarry owners and then figuring out how to get the slabs onto ships. It’s not a clean job. Our clothes often have a bit of stone dust on them by the end of the day. We don’t have a big marketing department. It’s just us answering the phone and writing down orders by hand. The main road is always loud with trucks, but you get used to it after a week. We just focus on getting the quality right before things get packed into the wooden crates. Shipping stone is tricky because of the weight and how fragile it can be. We have to be very careful with the logistics. It’s a straightforward business without any big promises. We like being in this neighborhood. It feels like home even when work is stressful. We just keep going, one crate at a time.
