Visveswarapura College Of Science

We are located right on K R Road in V V Puram, which is a busy part of Bangalore. If you know the 560001 area, you know how much traffic there is outside. Inside the gates, it is a bit different. We deal with science subjects here, so there is always someone carrying a lab coat or some books. The building has been standing for a long time and it shows its age in some spots, but it works for what we need. Students come in early to get their spots in the labs. There is always a smell of chemicals or something being tested coming from the windows. It is a very practical place. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because the equipment is more important. The staff room is usually crowded with papers and tea cups. People from all over the city come here because the location is central. You can hear the buses honking outside during the afternoon lectures. It is just a standard science college. We have our routine and we stick to it. Sometimes the elevators are slow, so most people just use the stairs to get to the higher floors. On the weekends, it is a lot quieter, but there are always a few people finishing up their projects in the labs. We don't really close down completely. It’s just how things go in this part of Bangalore. We keep the doors open and the classes running as they should without making a fuss about it.
