Vishwa Battery Center

Vishwa Battery Center is a little shop at 3 Nandini Layout. We deal with all sorts of batteries, mostly for cars and bikes, but sometimes for home backups too. It’s a small space, and it usually smells a bit like acid and old lead, but that’s just how battery shops are. We’ve been at 3 Nandini Layout for a good while now. People come to us when their car won’t start in the morning and they’re in a hurry to get to work. We spend a lot of time charging up old batteries or testing them to see if they’re still good. It’s not the cleanest job, as our hands are usually stained with grease or dirt by the end of the day. We don’t have any fancy waiting room. Most people just stand on the sidewalk and talk to us while we work on their vehicle. We’ve seen all kinds of vehicles come through here, from brand new cars to old scooters that should have been retired years ago. It’s a steady stream of people from the neighborhood. We aren't experts in everything, but we know batteries inside and out. Sometimes the shop gets crowded with old casings waiting to be recycled, but we try to keep a path clear for the customers. It’s just a local business trying to help folks keep their lights on and their engines running. We’re here most days, just waiting for the next person to roll in with a dead battery.
