Being in Peenya Industrial Area means it is always noisy around here. Our spot is at number 15 in Nagdevi, and the sound of machines never really stops. We work on CNC systems, which means a lot of checking measurements and making sure the metal is cutting right. It’s a dusty place, and your clothes usually end up smelling like oil by noon. The guys here have been working these machines for years. We don't spend much time in the office because there is always something to look at on the shop floor. Nagdevi gets really crowded with trucks and tempos moving parts around, so getting things delivered can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We usually have our lunch together in the small back room. It’s practical work. If a machine breaks, we fix it. If a part is wrong, we do it again. There isn't any fancy decor or anything like that here. It’s just concrete floors and heavy equipment. Sometimes the heat from the machines makes it tough in the summer months, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve seen the industrial area change a lot over the years, but our routine stays mostly the same. We just keep our heads down and handle the orders as they come in. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do.
