Vikhyath Cnc Turning Centre

Over here at 171/A Hegganahalli, things stay pretty busy at Vikhyath Cnc Turning Centre. It’s mostly about the CNC machines which take up most of the room. We spend a lot of our time setting up the programs and making sure the metal pieces come out looking okay. The floor is concrete. It’s always got some coolant or metal bits scattered around even if we sweep every day. Hegganahalli is a bit of an industrial spot. There’s always trucks and noise outside our door. We start early because that’s when it’s coolest and easiest to get things moving. There’s a specific sound the turning machines make when they’re cutting into the steel. You get used to it after a while. We aren't really set up for visitors with a waiting room or anything like that. People just come to the front and talk to us while we’re working. Sometimes the measurements are tricky and we have to double check everything three times before we finish a batch. It is repetitive work but it can be hard on the back standing all day. We have a small desk in the corner with a computer for the designs, but mostly we are on our feet. The air smells like hot metal and cutting oil. That's pretty standard for a place like this. It’s just us doing our thing every day.
