Vignesh Paints & Hardware

Vignesh Paints & Hardware is situated at number 7 on Vyalikaval 2nd Main Road. It’s one of those shops where you can find a bit of everything if you look hard enough. We carry paints, tools, and all the small hardware bits like screws and nails that people always seem to lose. The shop isn't very big, so we have things stacked up quite high to make use of the space. It can be a little cramped when a few people come in at once, but we make it work. Most of our days are spent behind the counter or climbing ladders to reach something on the top shelf. Vyalikaval is a nice area, and being on the 2nd Main Road means we get a lot of locals walking by. We’ve been here long enough that we recognize most of the people who walk through the door. It’s a practical kind of job. You help someone find a specific wrench or a particular shade of white paint, and then you move on to the next thing. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us here, making sure the shelves stay full and the floor stays mostly clean. Some days the rain makes things slow, and other days it’s a constant stream of people asking for plumbing supplies or door locks. We just take it as it comes and keep the doors open. It's a bit of a squeeze when the delivery of new brushes arrives, but we manage.
