Vidhya Gangothri Institution

Our place is at No. 53/1 on Dt Street, which is along the Palace Guttahalli Main Road. If you are familiar with where the Syndicate Bank is in Malleswaram, then you are very close to our front door. Bangalore is a massive city these days, but Malleswaram still feels like an old neighborhood, and we really like that about being here. Our building is a bit on the older side, just like many of the other structures on this road. We have set up our rooms to be functional for the students. There is nothing particularly fancy about the desks or the chairs we use. We get a lot of students from the nearby streets and some who travel from other parts of Bangalore. The main road can be very noisy with all the buses and bikes going past, but we have learned to ignore the sound over the years. We do not follow any corporate scripts or have a long list of managers. It is just a small group of us teaching and helping kids with their schoolwork. We usually have piles of books sitting in the corners and old charts pinned to the walls. It feels like a very traditional place to study. People in the area know us by our names. We do not use glossy brochures or run a lot of ads. We just open up and stay until the work is finished for the day. It is honest work and we have been here for years.
