Vellson Rubber Allied Products is located at number 45 in Hegganahalli. It’s more of a workspace than a fancy office. When you walk in, you’ll definitely notice the smell of rubber and industrial materials. It’s a scent we’ve grown quite fond of because it means we are getting things done. The shop floor is where most of the action happens. We have machines and tools spread out, and things can get a bit messy during a busy shift. Hegganahalli is an area with a lot of small industries, so we fit right in with the rest of the workshops. We spend our days handling raw materials and checking on the production of various parts. It’s physical work and can be quite tiring by the time evening rolls around. There is always a layer of dust on the windows, no matter how often we might try to clean them. We don't have a lot of staff, so everyone chips in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s moving boxes or answering the phone. The sunlight comes through the front door in the morning, which is the best time of day here before it gets too hot. We have a small table in the back where we take our breaks and have some tea. It’s a basic, honest operation where we focus on making the products we need to make each day. It keeps us busy and the day goes by fast.
