Vasudevan C

My office is located on the 1st floor at 24/1 Lalbagh Road, which is inside the New Mission Compound at the 1st Cross. It’s a busy area, especially with all the movement around Lalbagh, so there is always some noise from the street below. My name is Vasudevan C and I’ve been working from this first-floor spot for a long while now. To get here, you have to walk up the stairs which are a bit narrow, but once you’re inside, it’s a decent enough place to get work done. I don't have a team of people running around; it is mostly just me handling the daily business. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the furniture has seen better days, but everything functions just fine. I don't see the point in spending a lot on making things look perfect when the real value is in the work itself. I spend a lot of my time looking over files and writing notes. It’s a quiet environment once you get used to the city sounds in the background. I don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of my day is spent just being here and taking care of the small details that matter. It is a plain, honest way to earn a living, and I am satisfied with that. Being in the New Mission Compound feels like being part of a little piece of history in the city.
