If you find yourself driving down Kammagudanahalli Main Road, just look for the Rama Temple. We are located right across the street from it. Being opposite a temple means there is always some kind of activity going on outside, especially during the festivals or on Tuesday mornings when more people visit. You can hear the bells ringing sometimes when the front door is left open. Vandanasree Industries has been operating from this specific spot for a while now. It is a busy road with lots of trucks and motorbikes zooming past all through the day. The dust settles on the front windows pretty fast, so someone is usually trying to wipe them down. Inside the building, it is mostly the sound of the machines or people talking to each other over the noise of the street traffic. It is a local operation, nothing fancy or polished. We have a small team here, and everyone knows each other’s business pretty well. We started out with just a couple of machines and grew slowly as the years went by. The floor is made of concrete and shows the wear and tear of many years of moving heavy stuff around. We do not really have a big reception desk or a fancy waiting room with magazines. Usually, if a visitor comes by, they just find us at the back or in the small office space near the entrance. It is a simple, practical way to run a business.
