Image Labels Pvt. Ltd. is situated at No. 10 Vajarahalli, which is just off Kanakpura Road. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main city center, but we like it here because there’s more space than in the crowded markets. We’ve been printing labels at this location for a while now. The building is mostly one big open space with the printing presses taking up most of the room. It smells like ink and paper most of the time, which you get used to after about five minutes. Our staff consists of local people from the nearby areas. We don't have a big HR department or anything; we just talk to each other when something needs doing. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of working in this area. We handle all sorts of label orders, from small batches to some pretty large ones that keep the machines running overnight. The desks are covered in proofs and color swatches. It’s not a showroom; it’s a working factory. We have a small yard in the front where we load up the vans. Usually, there's a dog that hangs around the gate that we feed sometimes. It’s a low-key place where the focus is just on getting the labels printed clearly and out the door to whoever ordered them. We don't worry about being fancy.
