Parvathi Labels

At Parvathi Labels, we’re located at number 49/16 in the BM Shankarappa Industrial Estate. We’re right across from Max Apparels in the Sunkadakatte area. If you come by, you’ll see we’re right in the middle of a lot of other small factories. The main thing we do here is make labels. It sounds simple, but it keeps us very busy most days. The machines are always clicking and humming in the background. We have a small crew of people who have been doing this for years. They know exactly how to set the colors and cut the paper so everything comes out right. It’s a bit cramped in here because we have rolls of paper and ink canisters stacked up in the corners. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed, though. We aren't big on formal meetings or corporate rules. We just talk over the machines or during our tea breaks. Sunkadakatte is a busy place, and there’s always something happening on the street outside. We get a lot of dust from the road, so we’re constantly cleaning the equipment to keep it running smooth. We don't do any flashy advertising. Most of our work comes from people nearby who know we do a decent job with labels. It’s just a regular small business, nothing more and nothing less. We show up in the morning, do the work, and go home to our families when the sun goes down.
